Personal Data Breach

Personal Data Breach

A breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed. In other words, if any information relating to an individual is in any way disclosed not in the normal course of business, whether by accident or done maliciously – that is a breach.
