Third Party

(US) Someone not directly involved in a transaction. A third entity in addition to the first party and second party relationship, such as a seller and customer. A Seller may employ a third party to perform specific services to augment the value of a product.  

(EU) A natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data.
